Goddess Fran advises:
As the song goes:
“In this season of sadness, don’t forget your summertime.”
I wrote this many years ago after one of those January days that take down the weak and punish the strong.
I can take the razor wind. I can take the cold that sears your face. But what I can’t take is waking up to a grey as mean as the Old Mother’s cloak. And if you’ve dealt with the Old Mother’s cloak like I have, you don’t want any reminders.
Tamalyn and I heal ourselves with the balm of pure candlelight. We recently stopped by Goddess Carol’s pentagram to see what was cooking. We fired up some tasty beeswax tapers and let the light in! A strange mist appeared. And a stuffed goat. Let the light shine!
